Peter Stokes

Peter Stokes is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley in Design and History of Art. His skills include glass blowing and metal working, as well as woodworking and cabinetry. Repairing guitars began in the mid sixties as a hobby, and training continued under Larry Jameson of Guitar Resurrection & Repair in Berkeley, California (later of Austin, Texas.)

Full time professional work began in 1973 with the late Ed Murray of E.U. Co. Fretts, and professional training has included work in the Gibson and Martin factories.

Peter has been an authorized C. F. Martin, Gibson & Fender repairman since 1974.

Illustrious clients include; Mick Jagger, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Chris Hillman, The Cars, The J.
